Red Tail Hawk…Foiled again!

Cut from a single piece of Tupelo gum wood. Brass legs were used for support. Feet are made from wood, and talons from sculpy. This bird was carved from life. The hawk was seen swooping down to capture a rodent, but missed. The head is cocked in a perplexed look as if to say, what happened? The habitat wire is wound around a carved piece of pine that has been aged.
