Bird is observing a pine tree growing after seeds were germinated by a forest fire. Grouse carved from single piece of wood. The log is cut and carved to look burnt. The pine cones were copied from actual pine cones. Earth remnants of carving. Carved from Tupelo gum wood, glued together and painted. Comes with the base.
